POSITION SUMMARY
To effectively lead a field-based project team by coordinating with the WB project manager, client’s superintendent and other project team members to allow for safe and successful project execution, through project scheduling, resource management and service to all levels of the project team
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Works with the project manager and other project team members to develop a project plan
- Development, communication and execution of safety focused two to six-week look ahead plan that include the necessary resources and quality control measures
- Development of a field communication structure that allows all team members to be productive and efficient, and encourages engagement and growth
- Project tracking and reporting with a focus on daily unit entry, daily reports, time entry and work order management
- Resource management with a focus on manpower mentorship and equipment engagement
- Interaction with the client and subs to align project needs with the WB execution plan
- Perform all assigned roles, responsibilities, and related work processes/tasks in the safest possible manner. Ensure that a safe, accident/incident-free work environment is maintained for all co-workers, customers, clients, suppliers, etc. at all times.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- OSHA 10/30
- First Aid CPR Trained
- Civil Group Pre-Req’s for the Civil Group Craft as well as Assistant Superintendent
- Mentor another into foreman/assistant superintendent
- Project scheduling, conflict management and proper communication skills
- The ability to manage multiple sites or multiple Superintendents on larger sites
- The ability to train, mentor and develop other Superintendents
- Comprehension of project budget costs, change pricing and cost estimating

- Valid driver’s license – Required
- OSHA 10-Hour Certification – Required; training provided by Wayne Brothers
- OSHA 30-Hour Certification – Required; training provided by Wayne Brothers
- First Aid/CPR - Preferred

- Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
- Frequent lifting, bending, kneeling and reaching
- Walking Frequently
- Reaching above shoulder
- Standing for long periods of time
- Climbing ladders, working at heights, wearing/using fall protection harness
REPORTING AND ADVANCEMENT
- Reports to the Project Manager at the project level and the Operations Manager or General Superintendent at the direct report level
- Advancement position – Senior Superintendent
