We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Dance Teacher to join our team. As a subcontractor, you will be responsible for teaching dance classes to students of various ages and skill levels. Responsibilities:
- Teach dance classes in various styles (e.g., ballet, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, etc.) to students ranging from beginner to advanced levels.
- Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to the specific needs and goals of your students.
- Maintain a positive, engaging, and disciplined classroom environment that fosters growth and creativity.
- Offer constructive feedback to students, helping them refine their technique and artistry.
- Participate in studio performances and recitals.
- Communicate with parents and staff about student progress, challenges, and successes.
Qualifications:
- A professional-level background in dance (must have a dance degree, be a current dance college student, or have graduated from a pre-professional program).
- Semi-professional or professional-level training or performance experience in at least one dance style (additional styles a plus).
- Proven ability to teach students of varying ages and skill levels.
- Strong communication skills, with a passion for mentoring and inspiring young dancers.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- A collaborative and positive attitude.
