As a Unit Manager/Director - RN, you will support the Director of Nursing with the delivery of high-quality patient care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient/resident, family, and employee satisfaction. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the overall operations, coordination, and direction of nursing and patient care for an assigned unit.
- Ensuring patient care delivery aligns with our mission, vision, values, and policies, as well as accepted standards of practice, state, and federal regulations, and licensing requirements.
- Collaborating with staff, physicians, rehabilitation therapy, and other professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes on assigned units.
- Managing human resources in assigned units, including limiting overtime and agency personnel, recruiting and orienting staff, assessing work performance, and implementing disciplinary action when necessary.
To succeed in this role, you must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college, or university and hold current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
