Description of Duties :
The High School Business Teacher will provide instruction in business education courses to students in grades 9-12 aligned with the NYS standards. This includes teaching various business-related subjects such as accounting, entrepreneurship, money management, and finance and technology. The teacher will create a dynamic engaging learning environment that fosters student academic growth, prepares them for post-secondary education or careers, and helps students develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and leadership skills. The teacher will also build strong positive relationships with students, collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents, and create a classroom environment that promotes respect, responsibility, and cooperation.
Requirements :
Business and Marketing Certification; CTE certification preferred
