A Brief Overview
The Terminal Operations Facility Manager plans, coordinates, implements and manages activities for the operation and maintenance of the Evans and McNamara Terminals.
This position is at-will and part of 24/7/365-day operation. Work may be required during non-regular work hours, weekends, or holidays. The position does not offer a remote work option
What you will do
- Manage day-to-day operation and maintenance activities in the terminals including working with internal departments to schedule construction and maintenance projects. Coordinates response to routine calls for service.
- Coordinate scheduling, scope off work, and safety-related matters with stakeholders on construction and maintenance projects to minimize disruptions, and address safety and customer satisfaction concerns.
- Manage Terminal Operations contracts and contractors, including but not limited to moving conveyance, janitorial, automatic doors and pest control.
- Monitor performance of airline and tenant activities, properties, and facilities. Ensures adherence to airport rules and regulations.
- Prepare and analyze reports on operations in the terminals. Interprets data and prepares recommendations for enhancements.
- Respond to emergency calls and events, investigates complaints, issues, concerns and inquiries. Provides direction or recommendation for resolution.
- Assist in the development of solicitations for the procurement of goods and services.
- Assist with audit functions and reporting.
- Performs other similar and related duties as required or directed
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Facility Management or a related field and five (5) or more years of progressively responsible experience managing building facilities/ operations and three (3) or more years of experience managing direct reports or contractors/vendors. *An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
- Proficient with Office Suite Software (Core - Email, Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Presentation)
- Valid Driver's License and a safe, acceptable driving record.
