HOW TO BECOME A WCPS SUBSTITUTE TEACHER:
STEP 1: Complete and submit the application in Frontline. Be sure to include a copy of your High School Diploma/GED/Two-Year or Four-Year Degree/Transcript and the Effective Teacher Certificate (exempt if you hold a NC Teaching License).
STEP 2: Complete the Substitute Teacher Pre-Employment Packet. This packet includes information regarding the Health Form (with TB Test), Drug Test and background check.
STEP 3: Submit the Pre-Employment Packet to Yeny Piedra (yenycpiedra@wcps.org) in the Human Resources Department, Central Services, 2001 East Royall Avenue, Goldsboro, NC 27534.
Reminder: Your application is NOT considered submitted until the Frontline application is complete AND the Substitute Teacher Pre-Employment Packet is turned into Human Resources.

Be sure all forms are completed and submitted to the WCPS Human Resources Department.
