The Clinical Director (must be licensed) will be under the direction of the Corporate Clinical Director and will be primarily responsible for ensuring appropriate coordination, implementation, and oversight of mental health and substance abuse services (therapeutic services) for the residents of the facility, as well as conduct intake assessments, as requested.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Provide regular oversight to therapists providing therapeutic services for an individual caseload of clients.
· Seek and identify therapeutic training for therapist.
· Verify the intake process after admission to program to evaluate client’s physical or mental condition, based on review of available client information and interviews with client.
· Provide regular therapeutic services for an individual caseload.
· Conduct intake process after admission to program to evaluate clients’ physical or mental condition, based on review of available client information and interview(s) with client.
· Complete psychological assessments as requested by DCS.
· Provide a clinical diagnosis for clients, as necessary, through use of DSM-5 and consultation with clinical management.
· Participate in team meetings, as requested, to provide updates on treatment goals.
· Complete documentation for resident case records in a timely manner and provide to Program Case Managers.
· Perform crisis interventions with clients when necessary.
· Follow all applicable policies of Wayne Halfway House, Inc.
· Demonstrate competence in cultural knowledge, awareness, and sensitivity.

Education and Experience
· Master’s Degree from an accredited institution required in a field related to Human Services.
· Must have a current valid license in the state of employment. (Mental Health Counselor, Clinical Social Worker, or Marriage and family therapist)
· Three years experience in mental health treatment of children/youth or operational experience is strongly preferred.
NO FELONY CONVICTIONS. Must pass a drug screen and a Level 2 background check and maintain eligibility for continued employment.
