As a Videographer at Wayne Media Group, you will be responsible for capturing, editing, and producing high-quality video content across various platforms, including social media, commercials, and podcasts. You’ll collaborate with creative teams to plan and execute video projects, ensuring they align with client goals and brand guidelines.
Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Video Production Oversight: Manage the entire video production process, from pre-production through post-production, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables for clients and internal projects
- Concept Development: Collaborate with clients, and the creative department to develop innovative concepts and ideas that meet the project’s strategic goals.
- Scriptwriting & Storyboarding: Script development and creating storyboards to ensure a clear visual and narrative direction for each project.
- Directing Talent: Direct on-screen talent (actors, hosts, or clients) during shoots, providing clear guidance and ensuring strong performances that align with the project’s creative goals.
- Post-Production: Ensure that footage is edited to create a polished final product with cuts, music, color grading, and special effects to ensure alignment with the creative vision. Also, maintaining video deadlines internally and externally.
- Client Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact for video projects, working closely with clients to ensure their vision is accurately translated into the final video product.
- Video Quality Control: Ensure that all video content meets the highest standards of quality, creativity, and technical execution, delivering a polished, professional final product.
- Innovation & Trend Awareness: Stay current with video production trends, storytelling techniques, and new technologies to continuously push the creative boundaries and keep Wayne Media at the forefront of video production.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate with the creative, marketing, and web teams to ensure that video content integrates seamlessly into larger campaigns and strategies.
Skills
- Proficiency with editing software such as Adobe Creative Cloud and DaVinci Resolve.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Relative fitness and stamina to work long hours.
- Proficiency with camera equipment (photo and video)
- At least 1 year experience as a videographer.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in an agency or media production environment.
- Knowledge of motion graphics and animation (e.g., Adobe After Effects).
- Experience with drone videography and aerial footage capture.
- Familiarity with color grading and advanced video editing techniques.
- Experience with producing content for digital platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Knowledge of the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS).
