AtWorkforce Allinace, we are dedicated to providing exceptional services to individuals seeking support and guidance. We are currently seeking a passionate Intake Specialist to join our team and assist in the intake process for our clients.
**Job Summary:**
As an Intake Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting intake interviews, assessing client needs, and determining appropriate services to support their journey towards personal and professional development. You will play a crucial role in connecting individuals with the resources they need to thrive.
**Duties:**
- Conduct intake interviews with clients to gather relevant information
- Assess client needs and determine suitable programs or services
- Educate clients on available resources and support options
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records
- Provide guidance and support throughout the intake process
- Stay informed about workforce development initiatives and training opportunities
- Assist in recruiting efforts to reach individuals in need of assistance
**Experience:**
- Previous experience in workforce development or related field preferred
- Knowledge of employment labor law and training development
- Familiarity with interviewing techniques and assessment tools
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is a plus
- Strong background in social work or addiction counseling beneficial
**Skills:**
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Understanding of recruitment processes and program eligibility criteria

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.97 - $19.02 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
