Established flooring company is looking for energetic and teachable candidate to join our team. Team members who show initiative, work well with others, and further develop their skills will be rewarded with increased responsibilities and pay. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of Inventory; verify and adjust inventory.
The Purchasing Specialist compiles requests for materials, prepares purchase orders, tracks purchases and supplies, and handles inquiries regarding orders. They gather information and records to draw up purchase orders for the procurement of materials and services. Ordered material from vendors over the phone, websites, and computer. Detailed Oriented. Will train—a very well-respected flooring company offering sales and installation services. Previous flooring experience is a bonus! Must have a positive attitude and respectable work ethic.
Work hours: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Must be able to proof text accurately.
- Must be a fast learner with excellent work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet daily deadlines.
