Waypoint's Transitional Living Program is seeking a courageous, empathetic and compassionate leader. The Transitional Housing Program Supervisor who will report to the Housing Manager. Together, the Supervisor and Manager are responsible for the day-to-day functioning of the Transitional Living Program (TLP) and the Transitional Living Pregnant and Parenting Program (TLPP). This includes but is not limited to setting a tone and culture that is Positive Youth Development, emotionally and physically safe, and meets the needs of homeless youth and young adults (YYA). There are 3 TLP’s (Manchester, Dover, & Concord) and 2 TLPP’s (Manchester & Groveton) in New Hampshire and travel between all the homes is necessary.
In this leadership role, it will be necessary to understand and implement the agency's culture of psychological safety and courageous leadership; learning and continuous quality improvement; diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging; flexibility and support; collaboration and transparency; and accountability. Other key job responsibilities will include participating in community-based outreach and presentations to ensure that our communities know about the services and support provided through the TLP/TLPP’s, while providing ongoing support and supervision to Coordinators, House Mentors, and bachelor’s level interns. This will include interviewing, hiring, onboarding, training and 1-1 supervision and group supervision of all staff, both in person and virtual, at a rate and pace determined to be appropriate for the homes.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in a Human Service’s Related field.
- 2 years Supervisory experience (lived experience and expertise looked upon favorably)
- Experience with vulnerable populations, outreach, residential assistant, sexual health, mental health, and substance use a plus.
- Must have valid driver’s license, good driving record, reliable transportation and liability insurance coverage.
