Occupational Therapist

Salary Range: $32,500.00 - $37,500.00/year $1,000.00 sign on bonus (half paid after 30 completed days of employment and half paid after 90 completed days of employment).
This is a part-time position, 20 hours/week. Wayside Youth & Family Support Network is hiring for a creative and supportive individual to work in our Wayside Academy! We provide a supportive culture that is team-focused and places value on healthy work dynamics.
What You Will Do:
Provide a range of clinical occupational therapy services for youth and their families as part of a robust multi-disciplinary team at Wayside Youth & Family Support Network.
Provide assessment and clinical treatment recommendations to our Continuum programs serving DCF and DMH youth (ages 6-18).
Consult with clinical teams as well as provide individual and group therapy as required.
In home consultation to caregivers required as part of family work.

Experience with program development preferred
Experience in using clinical observations in assessment
Flexibility and willingness to be a part of a team
Ability to explain sensory integration (SI) and OT in understandable terms
Ability to empower staff with various training levels to utilize occupational therapy strategies.
Minimum Requirements:
Four or more years of experience in pediatrics and/or mental health settings, preferably providing treatment for individuals with social-emotional and/or behavioral difficulties
Three or more months of experience in a sensory integration setting with suspended equipment
Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy preferred
Salary : $32,500 - $37,500
