Overview of the EHR and Clinical Solutions Partner
Wayspring is currently hiring an Electronic Health Record (EHR) & Clinical Solutions Partner to manage the day-to-day operations of our athenahealth EHR platform and support initiatives that optimize clinical operations across the organization. This role will be responsible for knowing all aspects of our EHR system, configuring new clinics within the EHR, driving workflow and documentation efficiency improvements, and providing technical and functional support to clinic team members. The role will communicate and collaborate with multiple stakeholders throughout the organization to define business and system requirements, recommend solutions, advise on opportunities, and implement plans. Responsibilities of the EHR and Clinical Solutions Partner
- Serves as the company expert on Wayspring’s Electronic Health Record (EHR) configuration and acts as the first point of contact for technical troubleshooting of EHR.
- Supports clinical strategy and proactively consults with clinic teams to identify efficiency gaps or opportunities, recommend and implement solutions and workflows, and circulate updates to all team members.
- Independently manages and prioritizes assigned work, including managing deadlines, providing timely updates to customers, and documenting activity in ticketing system and/or project management tracking tools.
- Observes team members by job shadowing and relationship-building in the field and/or remotely to identify trends, opportunities, and assist in removing barriers.
- Designs, delivers, and maintains a role-based EHR onboarding training plan for all users that links the EHR “how to” with the business “why” and collaborates with training department to ensure alignment.
- Contributes to reporting and monitoring of clinical quality metrics and standards
- Develops improved workflows; create and maintain documentation and job aids for ongoing training purposes.
- Stays up to date on the latest athenahealth functionality and technical releases.
- Reviews, analyzes, and proactively provides recommendations to internal customers of upcoming features or changes that are relevant to operations.
- Configures new Wayspring clinic(s) and markets within the EHR system and oversees user management and role/permission assignment within EHR.
- Supports athenahealth and Wayspring technical integrations, including APIs or interfaces with laboratories, state prescription drug monitoring programs, or health information exchanges (HIEs).
- Ensures compliance with federal and state regulations as well as health plan policies related to program documentation and reporting.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting implementation of an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, preferably expert in Athenahealth
- Knowledge of developing and configuring efficient front and back-office clinic workflows
