Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's accounts receivable processes, including sending invoices, receiving payments, performing month-end reconciliations, and following up on past due invoices. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

This role is full time, in office, Monday through Friday, from 8:00AM to 5:00PM with one hour lunch breaks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and send invoices to customers in a timely manner.
• Monitor and manage incoming payments, ensuring accurate and prompt recording.
• Perform month-end reconciliations of accounts receivable.
• Follow up on past due invoices and communicate with customers to resolve payment issues.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts receivable transactions.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Assist with other accounting-related tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar accounting role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
