Purchasing Inventory Sourcing and Vendor Support

The Chosen Candidates Will Have The Following Qualifications

• Inventory Management:
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts and excess inventory.
• Analyze demand forecasting to optimize inventory ordering.
• Implement inventory control strategies like cycle counting and stock rotation.
• Manage inventory data and reporting to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Procurement
• Generate purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Manage purchase order approvals and compliance with company policies.
• Resolve any discrepancies with deliveries or invoices.
• Required Skills:
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed purchasing decisions
• Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing and terms with suppliers
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and software
• Understanding of supply chain principles and logistics
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  
  
  

Experience with Vendor Management would be a plus:

• Sourcing and Vendor Management:
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on price, quality, delivery time, and reliability.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost-effective purchasing.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
• Conduct supplier performance reviews and address quality issues.
