What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laborer position at WC Smith?
• Keep record of invoices sent and received
• Fill orders by taking items from the shop and preparing them for use and delivery
• Monitor shelves and fill them in when needed
• Maintains the cleanliness and safety of the supply area
• Place orders with suppliers when inventory is low and also order packing and shipping supplies when needed
• Contact supplier and resolve any shipping issues
• Informs the Management team of inventory and concerns immediately
• Complete other tasks for the shop as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school diploma or GED required
• Must have at least 2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field
• Must be able to bend and lift heavy materials
• Well-organized, able to multitask but also attentive to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to think quickly and resolve issues
• Must be able to lift minimum of 20 pounds up to 60 pounds
• Must have a valid driver’s license
