COMPENSATION
Starting at $125,000 yearly – very flexible salary, looking for the right candidate & high-quality individuals.
SCHEDULE
On-site: Monday-Friday (40 hours per week).
POSITION OVERVIEW: Planning & Scheduling Manager - Change Management
The Planning & Scheduling Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating the integrated schedule development, monitoring, and change control process across all project phases. This role emphasizes change management to ensure that schedule adjustments align with project goals and risk management strategies. You will drive efficiency and standardization while collaborating closely with project controls and management teams to assess and implement timeline changes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules per company guidelines and client standards.
- Proactively monitor project schedule progress, identifying potential risks and bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with project managers and functional leads to update scheduled activities and adapt to changes.
- Identify and manage critical paths, dependencies, and activities with minimal float.
- Create and present detailed project status reports and schedule forecasts to stakeholders.
- Actively participate in project meetings to provide schedule data and facilitate decision-making.
- Oversee schedule timelines and phases of construction, integrating change management strategies into all updates.
- Lead the standardization of scheduling processes and oversee any contracted scheduling services.
- Ensure schedule detail is aligned with project execution requirements and phases.
- Load project resources into schedules to facilitate effective staffing and resource density analysis.
- Establish key metrics and benchmarks to assess schedule performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the project controls team to ensure the schedule supports the change management process.
- Perform advanced scheduling tasks, including WBS structure development, logic links, constraints, resource loading, progress tracking, earned value reporting, and float management in Primavera P6.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 10 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, and change management.
- 5 years of experience with Primavera P6
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to influence stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational and coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Comprehensive understanding of project controls functions and scheduling methodologies.
- Expertise in Critical Path Method (CPM) concepts and calculations.
- Experience with earned value management and auditing/validating engineering and construction progress.
- Advanced skills in Primavera P6, including resource and cost loading.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Extensive experience with EPC projects, particularly high-profile, high-budget initiatives.
- 5 years’ experience in the commercial construction industry.
- Familiarity with semiconductor plants, clean rooms, tool installations, and utility systems design or construction.
- Proven ability to collaborate with engineering, procurement, and contractor teams effectively.
CONTRACT LENGTH
6 months contract to hire, willing to do direct hire.
Salary : $125,000 - $165,000
