Job Function :
- Clinician will be working w. EMS Team and will respond to incoming 311 calls for any type of individual who is experiencing mental health crisis. Patient can be any age, can be within in home or homeless, substance abuse / recovery or other mental health challenges
- Each Clinician will be partnered with 1 peer advocate for support, in addition to Orange County EMS team
- Will respond to incoming calls from 311 Call Center, will be provided w. Cellphone, laptop or tablet to record notes on EMR FootHold (very easy to learn will train until they get it)
- Will servicing individuals within New Windsor, Cornwall and Newburgh (Orange County)
- Candidate may receive 3 calls or 20 calls in 1 workday but will be guaranteed 40 hour paid work week, when there is down time clinician will make follow up calls to ensure that there is ongoing / follow up treatment for individual or family involved
