Job Summary:
We are seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for process bills, process payments, and reconciling vendor accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Process a high volume of bills accurately and efficiently
- Verify and reconcile Bills and Purchase Orders, ensuring proper documentation and approvals
- Respond to vendor inquiries in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in accounts payable or related field
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office and Quickbooks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of financial concepts and general ledger reconciliation
- Background in public accounting or general ledger accounting is advantageous
