WDC Kitchen and Bath Center is a luxury retailer of home appliances, outdoor kitchens, plumbing fixtures and mattresses. We are looking for an organized individual to join our team as an Order Fulfillment Specialist!

This role provides support to the Retail Sales Division by coordinating with the customer for their order delivery / installation confirmations as product arrives to the warehouse. Our ideal candidate is an experienced professional with knowledge of customer service best practices. We expect you to perform well in a team environment and have exceptional communication skills. Ultimately, you should be able to contribute to creating and maintaining good customer relationships and ensuring smooth sales team operations.

Responsibilities

Answer incoming calls from customers and sales consultants to provide assistance and coordination on open orders.
Make outbound calls and emails to notify customers of their product availability, setting a delivery and / or installation date, and providing any other clarifying information needed.
Using various software to review open orders for accuracy and updating orders or customer information if changes occur.
Review Quotes and Purchase Order’s received. Ensure pricing and models numbers are correct. If there are discrepancies identified, escalating the matter to find a solution and notifying the appropriate persons involved.
Notifying Customers of available warranties, if not selected at time of order placement through the Sales Consultant.

EXPERIENCE / ROLE REQUIREMENTS :

2-4 years’ experience with purchase orders coordination, accounts receivables, or similar role.

Customer service or customer facing environments preferred

Proficient in MS Office

Excellent organizational skills

Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing, and demonstrate good listening skills

Minimum High school diploma or GED required

Ability to change direction as priorities shift and adapt to changing circumstances

Ability to cope with occasionally difficult or temperamental customers.

Ability to cope with mental and emotional stress related to the position

Compensation : Starting Pay Range :

19.00 – 21.00 hourly

Work Schedule :

Shift : 9 : 00am – 5 : 30pm

Monday – Friday to start.

Tuesday – Saturday following a successful introductory period.

Sunday availability needed for special events on rare occasions.

Working Environment & Conditions :

Office Environment - Generally an indoor stetting where the noise level is usually moderate, but can be loud.

The Temperature in the work environment us usually moderate to cool, but can be cold or hot.

Will be working with computers and phones frequently.

Occasionally required to stand for extended periods of time.

Frequently sitting and typing for extended periods of time.

Frequently able to communicate verbally and in written form.

Frequently able to use all types of vision, such as close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception, to complete daily tasks.

Occasionally required to bend, stretch, reach or stoop.

Required to wear comfortable and office appropriate clothes within Business Casual standards.
