We have an exciting opportunity for a Director of Preconstruction to join our team at WDS Construction. This newly created role offers the flexibility to shape and refine processes while contributing to high-quality, cost-effective solutions for our clients.
About the Role
The Director of Preconstruction will collaborate with owners, architects, and the WDS team to develop conceptual, schematic, design, and construction document estimates. This role ensures competitive pricing while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
Key responsibilities include:
- Subcontractor Coordination: Prequalify and manage subcontractors, ensuring they have the necessary information and bids are received.
- Project Transition: Work closely with Project Management teams to turn over projects to the production/delivery phase.
- Client Engagement: Follow up on proposals and maintain client relationships until contracts are awarded.
- Travel: Some travel required to support project needs.
