As a Member Transportation Specialist, you'll play a key role in ensuring safe, reliable transportation for members while supporting our mission to deliver care and connection across King and Pierce Counties.

Position Summary

As a Member Transportation Specialist, you'll transport members safely and compassionately between clinics and mobile unit locations. This role goes beyond driving—it's about providing exceptional support and creating a positive, respectful experience for every member you serve. Flexibility and adaptability are essential as you'll work across multiple locations, ensuring our services are accessible to those who need them most.

What You'll Do

Member Transportation & Safety

• Safely transport members to and from clinics, mobile units, and other approved locations.
• Assist members with entering and exiting the vehicle as needed, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and clinic policies to maintain a safe and timely transportation schedule.

Supportive Member Engagement

• Greet members warmly and treat them with respect, compassion, and dignity throughout their journey.
• Address member inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy, creating a positive experience.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure seamless member care.

Operational & Administrative Excellence

• Conduct vehicle inspections before and after trips, reporting any issues promptly to maintain safety.
• Maintain accurate transportation records, including mileage, routes, and member logs.
• Support clinic operations as needed, including assisting with deliveries or other tasks.

What You'll Bring

Education & Certifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Washington State driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Current or attainable First Aid and CPR certification.

Skills & Attributes

• Exceptional driving skills and knowledge of safe driving practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with members and team members.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different team environments and handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
• Needs to be able to work the day and evening shift.

Preferred Experience

• At least one year of driving experience, ideally in a transportation or customer service role.
• Familiarity with serving diverse populations and working in healthcare or recovery settings.
