Position Summary
As the Mobile SUDP Clinical Supervisor, you'll wear two hats: clinical leader and frontline caregiver. Acting as a "player-coach," you'll guide a team of Substance Use Disorder Professionals (SUDPs) and Peer Counselors while also directly engaging in member care. You'll be the go-to clinical contact within the mobile units, upholding WeCare's standards of compassionate, member-centered care and ensuring adherence to best practices, compliance, and seamless daily operations. What You'll Do
Clinical Supervision & Support
- Mentor and guide SUDPs and Peer Counselors, offering hands-on support, case consultations, and real-time guidance.
- Conduct chart audits, review documentation, and provide constructive feedback to elevate care quality and compliance.
- Lead training sessions, keeping your team current with evidence-based practices and WeCare's operational standards.
Direct Member Care & Counseling
- Provide compassionate counseling and case management to members, helping them set treatment goals and create personalized action plans.
- Model harm reduction and empathy in every member interaction, fostering a respectful, safe space.
- Lead or co-lead therapy and educational groups to support member engagement and promote recovery best practices.
Operational Oversight & Compliance
- Oversee daily mobile unit operations, ensuring smooth workflows and adherence to policies alongside your team.
- Stay on top of HIPAA, CFR 42 Part 2, and all relevant regulations, guiding staff in proactive compliance.
- Participate in audits and regulatory reviews, upholding WeCare's standards across all mobile units.
Team Collaboration & Communication
- Be the primary clinical contact in mobile units, providing on-the-ground support and bridging communication between the team and clinic administration.
- Collaborate with Clinical Leads and Medical Support staff to ensure seamless, member-centered care.
- Engage with external partners as needed to provide continuity of care for members.
Performance Management & Development
- Coach your team with ongoing feedback, conduct performance evaluations, and support them in achieving professional goals.
- Assist in hiring, onboarding, and training new team members, sharing clinical expertise and fostering WeCare's mission and values.
- Set a strong example of professionalism, ethics, and accountability in every interaction.
What You'll Bring
- Education & Licensure: Active Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) credential as per Washington Administrative Code (WAC) requirements.
- Experience: 2 years in substance use disorder counseling, with experience in clinical supervision or mentorship.
- Leadership & Coaching Skills: Ability to lead by example, offering hands-on guidance and support in a fast-paced, mobile environment.
- Organizational & Technical Skills: Proficient in EMR systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and Excel; highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Communication & Cultural Sensitivity: Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on member-centered care, able to work effectively with diverse populations.
Additional Requirements
- No history of alcohol or drug misuse in the past 3 years and no evidence of misuse while employed.
- Availability for evening and weekend hours as needed.
- Willingness to travel to various mobile units and clinic sites as required.
