Position Summary:
The Human Resources Specialist (Onboarding and HRIS) provides administrative support to the Human Resources Department. This role is responsible for onboarding employees, performing file maintenance, HRIS entry and other various administrative tasks within the Human Resources Department.
Position Responsibilities:
- Perform onboarding tasks for all new employees; process request to hire emails from facility management, handle all communication with new employees, complete background checks, schedule new employee drug screening, compliancy training, and collect onboarding documentation according to HR Onboarding Value Chain.
- Perform file maintenance activities; maintain state and joint commission compliance items according to state and federal regulations. Compliance items include, but are not limited to, CPR, licenses/certifications, background clearance, compliance training, and health forms.
- HRIS data entry; process new employees, maintain electronic files.
- HRIS - Performing weekly audit to ensure accurate data is in the HR system. (status change form, annual increases, position change, etc.)
- Performs other related duties as assigned by VP of HR.
Education and Skills/Experience:
- Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- 2 -3 years of human resources experience
- 1 year of healthcare experience.
- Experience using ATS system (paycom system is a plus and will be considered first)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
