What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Specialist position at WGI?
We are currently seeking a Human Resources Specialist with 2 years’ experience to be part of our Human Resources Division in our Corporate office in West Palm Beach, FL.
We are looking for a candidate who can provide impeccable customer service and is committed to providing our staff with excellent HR support.
In this position, you will be responsible for supporting the Human Resources Division with a broad range of functions including assisting Talent Acquisition Recruiters with scheduling interviews, ordering background checks and pre-employment drug screenings and testing, managing the I-9 process as well as onboarding new hires. You will provide reporting for the department to include new hires and terminations. The HR specialist will maintain the employee databases and physical employment and medical files and provide other HR support as needed.

- Manage new hire orientation to include scheduling and facilitating
- Prepare offer letters and new hire packets
- Process new hire paperwork including scheduling background screenings, pre-employment testing, I-9, and other HR-related documents
- Coordination of recruiting including scheduling interviews and follow-up with candidates
- Maintain employee databases
- Plan, coordinate, and communicate company and office events
- Respond to internal HR-related inquiries and request
- Additional administrative tasks as needed
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 2 years of human resources experience
- Experience with an HRIS system (Dayforce would be perfect)
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills.
- High degree of time management skills with the ability to handle confidential and time-sensitive materials
- Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
