Sales Estimator – Residential & Commercial Construction

Our client, a well-established residential and commercial construction firm, is seeking a Sales Estimator to join their team. This role is crucial in assessing project costs, preparing accurate estimates, and ensuring financial efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage bids and client relationships effectively.
Key Responsibilities :
Project Analysis & Cost Estimation
- Review project requirements, blueprints, and specifications to develop accurate cost estimates.
- Analyze labor, materials, and equipment costs to ensure financial accuracy.
- Prepare material and labor estimates for residential and light commercial projects, including kitchens, bathrooms, and additions.
Vendor & Contractor Management
Client Engagement & Sales Support
Reporting & Compliance
Qualifications & Skills :
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and estimating software.
Strong understanding of residential and commercial construction processes.
Experience in kitchen, bathroom, and home addition projects is a plus.
Familiarity with the AIA bidding process is beneficial.
Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Open availability to meet client needs and complete follow-ups as required.
