What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician Foreman position at We Staff Better, LLC?
Seeking an experienced electro-mechanical maintenance technician with familiarity of industrial chemical processing equipment & controls. Responsible for mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, reliability and equipment requisition, with a strong emphasis on ensuring plant up-time.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Troubleshoot electro-mechanical issues
- Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and reliability maintenance programs, including critical spare part inventory management.
- Requisition tools, equipment, and supplies required for operations and maintain inventory levels to meet the daily demands of the business. This includes critical spare part management, as well.
- Work closely with production department to provide technical expertise and managerial support to achieve optimal efficiency and quality.
- Attend, lead and/or participate in technical, new product introduction and/or project-based meetings with the Research, Production and Quality Departments.
- Train employees in proper use and care of equipment.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Demonstrate strong electrotechnical skills and knowledge, including experience working around 120-480V power systems and troubleshooting PLCs and instrumentation.
- 7-10 years of proven experience in industrial facilities.
- Experience implementing Preventative and Predictive Maintenance Programs on rotating equipment & process instrumentation.
- Excellent computer skills including AutoCAD, MS Word, Excel, Project Management Software, ERP systems, and PowerPoint (a plus)
- Sound understanding of safe work practices, incident investigation techniques, permit to work systems, management of change and safety & environmental regulations.
- 24-7 support mentality of plant and customer issues/emergencies
- Welding Experience (a plus)
- Forklift Training & Rigging Experience
