We are a growing firm looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team! The ideal candidate will need to have at least 2 years experience, a strong work ethic and reliable. Must understand the intricacies of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability and other financial dealings. The role will be to support our clients with accurate and timely accounting reports, handle Payroll, Sales tax, and reconciliation of bank records in QuickBooks Online. Responsibilities:
o Part-time bookkeeping for multiple clients
o Assisting Bookkeeping Managers
o Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
o Process accounts payable and receivable
o Process payroll
o Record all necessary journal entries and accruals
o Close books monthly and prepare financial statements
o Preparing quarterly/annual payroll
o Maintain excellent client and staff relationships and communicate proactively and effectively
Requirements:
· 2 years' experience in bookkeeping/accounting (general ledger accounting, reconciliation, month-end close)
· QuickBooks Online Certification and QuickBooks Desktop experience is a plus and other client accounting software as well as the ability to learn new software apps
· Ability to interact with clients directly.
· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines for clients and the firm
· Ability to research a problem or question independently first but reaches out for assistance when needed.
· Knows how to prioritize and stay organized
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills
· Ability to build strong and positive relationships with team members and clients
· Quick learner: ability to take direction well and always strives for improvement.
