We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to oversee the financial operations of Dr. MobiCare. This role is pivotal in maintaining financial integrity, managing multiple entities under our corporate umbrella, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. The Controller will work closely with the CFO to develop financial strategies, implement policies, and streamline accounting operations. This is a full-time, in-office position requiring a deep understanding of healthcare finance and multi-entity accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage financial operations across multiple entities, consolidating financial data for executive review.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Work closely with the CFO to develop financial strategies, budgets, and forecasting models.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Coordinate audits and tax filings, liaising with external auditors and tax professionals.
- Monitor cash flow, manage banking relationships, and optimize financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state healthcare regulations, including reimbursement policies and financial reporting standards.
- Support the CFO in financial decision-making and strategic planning.
- Develop and enforce accounting policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
- Analyze financial performance trends and provide insights to drive cost optimization and profitability.
- Oversee financial risk management, including contract review and financial due diligence.
- Assist in mergers, acquisitions, and financial integrations related to company expansion.
- Work with department heads to create and monitor department-specific budgets and cost control measures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
- 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within the healthcare sector.
- Strong experience managing financials for multiple entities under a single corporate structure.
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and healthcare compliance regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a strategic mindset.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.

- Experience with revenue cycle management and healthcare reimbursement processes.

Compensation:
- Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 dependent on experience and qualifications.
