We are seeking an experienced and driven Homecare Account Manager / Business Development professional to join our team, specifically focused on generating straight Medicare cases in the Queens, Bronx, and Brooklyn areas. This role requires expertise in marketing Medicare A & B cases for a Certified Home Health Agency (CHHA), with a strong emphasis on securing straight Medicare clients as opposed to managed care plans. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Medicare case generation, leveraging hospital connections and existing industry relationships to drive new business and expand our client base.
Key Responsibilities :
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of straight Medicare cases by cultivating and nurturing relationships with hospitals, healthcare providers, and referral sources within the region.
- Focus on securing Medicare A & B cases (not managed care plans such as Health First or Blue Cross Medicare) to drive new business for our CHHA services.
- Utilize a well-established network to poach business from competitors, expanding our client base.
- Collaborate directly with hospital staff and other referral sources to build rapport and convert opportunities into active Medicare cases.
- Follow up consistently with leads to ensure a high conversion rate from initial contact to case submission.
- Track and report on leads, cases, and progress, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
- Stay updated on industry trends, specifically Medicare reimbursement rates and regulatory changes impacting CHHAs.
