Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and service-oriented individual to join our team as a Parts Counter Sales Representative to help customers with purchases and product inquiries while ensuring positive customer service. The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service, process sales transactions, prepare orders for delivery, restock merchandise, and maintain accurate inventory.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service in person and over the phone
- Assist customers with product inquiries and purchases
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized sales counter and workstation
- Prepare orders for delivery
- Monitor inventory levels and restock merchandise as needed
- Collaborate with other team members
Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, stoop, and reach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and colleagues
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems and order tracking
- Working knowledge of mechanical or industrial parts (fasteners/filters/industrial supplies) and basic troubleshooting for part selection preferred
- Attention to detail and accuracy in order processing

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
