What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Scheduler position at Wearparts Tillage Tools?
Position:
Wearparts is now accepting applications for a Production Scheduler with a positive attitude to join our team. This position will aid and work directly with the Operations Manager. This position is responsible for maintaining the flow of all orders and jobs throughout production and the warehouse while balancing customer and business needs.
Primary Duties:
- Create and maintain production schedules for customer orders and inventory stock
- Deliver pull and ship orders to the warehouse timely to ensure quick shipment
- Monitor order progress against the schedule and communicate status updates and production changes timely
- Handle unforeseen problems and reallocate resources between teams as needed
- Create and Maintain production reports and dashboards to support decision making and maintain accurate records
- Trouble shoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records with Inventory Controller
- Develop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures in order to maximize efficiency and reduce lead times
- Nurture positive relationships with team members and provide customer service as needed.
- Ensures OSHA and Industry compliance
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 3 years of production/warehouse experience
- Previous Scheduling experience- preferred
- A willingness to learn and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of inventory and scheduling system
- Good written and verbal communication
