Quality and Returns Associate

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor and inspect product to ensure that quality and integrity are within specifications
• Remove or discard all products and equipment that fail to meet specifications
• Review drawings and specifications to compare to produced goods
• Record inspection results by completing reports, summarizing re-works and wastes and inputting data into quality database
• Verify employees are following safety and quality standards set by the company
• Receive and inspect supplier, customer, and internal samples
• Find resolution with suppliers on quality issues and defects
• Assist Engineers with data collection, basic design calculations and plan preparations
• Create part numbers for new parts based on company guidelines
• Assist with Return Material Authorization (RMA) investigations including root cause analysis
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• SolidWorks Experience Preferred
• High School diploma or GED required
• Have Excellent Communication and analytical skills
• Strong Attention to detail
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Apps

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the individual must be able to remain in a stationary position for 50 percent of the time while operating their computer and performing office work. They constantly operate computers and other office productivity machinery, such as a telephone and copy machine. They must be able to exchange accurate information with customers and others in the office while interacting. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. The individual must be capable of reviewing their work for errors and adjust as necessary. This position works in a warehouse/manufacturing setting, with some outdoor exposure during the day. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
