Senior Applications Analyst

Position Summary:   

Responsible for designing, developing and maintaining software solutions that drive our business and help us achieve our companies’ strategic goals. You will work closely with other developers, project managers and key stakeholders to create efficient systems that meet the needs of our business.  This position is a remote position, but there will be some travel to the corporate headquarters or plant facilities depending on the projects being worked on.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Configure code, test and troubleshoot existing programs.  Analyze end user data and business needs to assure user-orientation and optimal program/system performance.
• Implement and maintain integrations with third-party APIs and services
• Optimize and refactor existing code to continually improve performance and reliability.
• Participate in code and design reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Ensure coding standards are followed
• Mentor other developers and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development process
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain current
• Maintain and design SSRS reports
• Understand and work with Data Warehouses using Qlik tools
• Experience with REST and GraphQL web services
• Experience with GIT
• Platform skills in the following areas:
  • Visual C#
  • Visual Basic
  • Java
  • SQL
  • CL

Work Relationships and Scope:

• Works with Engineering, Purchasing, Plant Personnel, Accounting, IT, Manufacturing Execution Rule Writers, Inside Sales, Marketing and Field Service

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: 

• Must have a dedicated home office environment free of distractions and ability to participate in voice communications and TEAMs meetings
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• A solid understanding of .NET, C#, and API based web technologies. ASP.NETMVC, .NET framework, .NET Core & Entity Framework
• Significant Microsoft SQL Server experience is required, you must know stored procedures, views and table valued functions

Qualifications

Salary : $80,000 - $135,000
