HR Category Manager Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and strategic HR Category Manager to develop and implement long-term sourcing strategies for Human Resources Categories and sub-categories.
This role will enhance value, negotiate contracts and agreements for required Goods and Services across multiple locations to reduce total cost of ownership, cycle time, and improve quality.
The successful candidate will report to the Director Category Management and have a dual reporting line to the Geozone/Region Supply Chain Manager, liaising with network Geozone Supply Chain and Sourcing Managers to drive sourcing strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with different Geozones to implement the global HR strategy including all sub-categories.
- Proficient in running complex RFPs, challenging partners on specifications, timelines, quality of service, and potential bottlenecks.
- Ensure compliance with Company's Security, Compliance, HSE policies, Management System, relevant laws, regulations, standards, and industry practices.
- Maintain service quality as an immediate priority, continually seeking areas for improvement.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders and establish subject matter expert teams to drive change, define and implement global technical, commercial, and contractual standards.
- Perform spend analysis, develop sourcing plans, conduct risk analysis, establish process methodologies, prepare and participate in bid events, qualify, approve, and negotiate contracts.
- Develop relationship management strategies, conduct supplier performance reviews, establish and maintain a strong supplier pipeline.
- Partner with leadership teams to implement category strategies and establish performance improvement plans.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Manufacturing or related discipline is required.
- A Master's degree, preferably an MBA, is preferred.
- Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in general sourcing, strategic sourcing, outsourcing, supply chain management or similar experience is required.
- Experience with Human Resources spend and sourcing.
- Excellent skills to identify sourcing opportunities, perform spend analysis, and develop RFX documents.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Advanced Excel user and proficient in MS Office suite.
