Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement personalized meal plans as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper nutrition for residents with specific medical conditions
- Oversee the preparation and service of meals, ensuring compliance with dietary guidelines and regulations
- Manage inventory of food and supplies, placing orders as needed
- Hire, Train and supervise dietary staff members
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of nutrition principles and dietary guidelines
- Ability to assess patients' nutritional needs and develop appropriate meal plans
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, visitors and staff
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate records
- Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and oversee meal preparation
- Leadership abilities to train and supervise dietary staff members
