Responsibilities
The Production Software Automation Manager will manage the overall business of the within the geographical area. This includes the financial performance, asset utilization, and growth strategy. The Production Software Automation Manager will also be required to interface with Vice President-US Geozone to determine and assist in the implementation of product line strategies. In addition, he will manage the white spaces between the different product lines as well as sales.
Responsibilities and duties:
- Drive compliance of all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford
- Oversee and manage the Area P&L across multiple Product Lines.
- Oversee the Asset and Resource Allocation of the Area.
- Work with Area Sales, global and local product line managers to determine and implement product line business strategies.
- Evaluates Area Product Line pricing strategies with Sales and Product Line.
- Coordinate budgeting and planning for the area.
- Oversees facility integration and management.
- Manages white space between Product Lines.
- Interacts with regional customers.
- Lead representation in Area events and local Officials.
- Communicates with other WFT areas to maximize synergies.
- Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
- Manage, lead, coach and develop direct and indirect reports
- Perform various other duties as assigned by supervisor within physical constraints of the job.
Qualifications
- 15 years` experience in oil field related employment
- 5-10 years` experience in Area/District type management.
- Technical Diploma/Degree required. Additionally, some formal business training or MBA preferred.
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
- Experience in strategic planning and execution. Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management. Skill in examining tenders, market conditions and operational requirements.
- Experience in sales and marketing.
- Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Ability to develop financial plans and manage resources. Ability to analyze and interpret financial data Ability to prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
- Knowledge of communications and public relation techniques. Ability to develop and deliver professional presentations.
- Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate and interact with officials at all levels of government and clients. Work effectively across a diverse multicultural multilingual community.
