Responsibilities
Under limited direction, using their technical knowledge and experience, the TSR proactively and strategically seeks out and aligns Weatherford technology to our customer’s operational needs. This role relies on strong customer relationships that enable the identification of customer needs to properly position specific Weatherford solutions for success.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Work in a safe manner and encourage others to do the same.
- Follow all commercial policies such that those activities are performed lawfully and ethically
- Understand the current market and key decision makers’ preferences on upper and lower completions
- Assemble and disseminate market intelligence back to internal stakeholders, collaborating to develop strategic pursuit plans, and uncovering development opportunities
- Propose successful solutions to customers formally (through presentations, & tender submissions) & informally through collaboration, inside and outside the workplace
- Learn and utilize WFRD business systems to quote, forecast, maintain contracts, and pursue work.
- Respond immediately and accurately to customer requests, and leads
- Oversee the tender development and response process, per corporate guidelines; ensure all resources are available and produce for high quality submissions
- Liaise with the commercial operations center and legal department for contract initiation, drafting , and execution
- Responsible for advising client accurately whether or not the Company wishes to participate in a given opportunity
- Responsible for grasping and communicating technical specifications with the client &; securing detailed client feedback and constructive criticism
- Provide project and inventory management for resultant orders, as a single point of contact for our customers
Qualifications
Knowledge and experience-
Required:
- Technical knowledge and operations experience in deepwater Oil & Gas well construction
- Relationships in place with Houston-based offshore deepwater operators
- Knowledgeable in deepwater sales cycles, safety culture, quality culture, and market dynamics
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt and be effective in a matrix management structure
Preferred:
- A four-year degree in any relevant discipline
- Minimum 5 years industry experience in a combination of field and onshore technical support roles.
