The Financial Systems Manager will oversee the guidance and coordination of financial systems, including Salesforce Billing/CPQ and its integration with ERP systems. This role will drive the strategic design and improvement of financial processes, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and alignment with company goals. As a project and operations manager, this position will collaborate closely with technical teams to implement and optimize financial systems, while ensuring operational excellence in billing and financial processes.

- Reports to: VP Corporate Controller.
- Lead the end-to-end billing process, including setup, invoicing, adjustments, and reconciliation, leveraging Salesforce Billing/CPQ and its integration with Sage Intacct.
- Manage the complexities of consolidated partner billing, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and accuracy in revenue reporting.
- Drive the strategic design and implementation of forward-looking billing processes and additional billing models, including variable and usage-based billing.
- Oversee financial system integrations, ensuring complete and accurate data transfers with key systems.
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing billing team, providing leadership and support to foster professional development.
- Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Support, and Operations to optimize processes and deliver best-in-class billing experiences for customers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve billing discrepancies with a focus on root cause analysis and prevention.
- Act as the subject matter expert on Salesforce Billing/CPQ, driving training across various team members as well as the organization through best-in-class improvements.
- Partner with stakeholders to evaluate and implement ERP solutions and processes.
- Project manage key financial system projects.
- Support audits by preparing documentation and ensuring compliance with financial controls and standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of experience in billing or related operations, with 3 years of hands-on Salesforce Billing/CPQ expertise preferred.
- Proven track record managing consolidated partner billing structures and subscription-based or SaaS revenue models.
- Demonstrated experience in billing system implementations and migrations,
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organization.
- Experience with guiding ERP implementations, particularly in financial and billing systems.
- PMP certification or equivalent
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial tools; experience with Sage Intacct or similar ERP systems is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously with a focus on delivering results on time.
- A strategic approach to process improvement, system optimization, and innovation.
- Experience in smb subscription-based or SaaS business models.
