We are looking for a Civil Engineering CAD Designer for our Naperville or Chicago office.   The position is for an entry level entrepreneurial-minded, qualified, and knowledgeable professional who seeks a fast-paced and challenging work environment, an opportunity to grow, and a desire for autonomy.  Our mission is to provide clients with very high quality, pragmatic, and customer-focused service.

Primary Responsibilities

• Work on commercial and industrial land development civil engineering projects
• Utilize Autodesk Civil 3D
• Site Planning, civil engineering design and preparation of land development civil engineering plans
• Stormwater detention and sewer design utilizing various computer software programs
• Participate in the training for technical and operational staff
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients both in oral and written techniques
• Demonstrate organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and specific timelines
• Meet established deadlines

Qualifications

• Intermediate to advanced knowledge in AutoCAD Civil3D
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Proficient Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
• A minimum of 2 years of experience drafting civil engineering plans
