Summary/Objective
The DSP/Supervisor is responsible for general labor to perform operations as needed to fulfill customer needs. This position requires a safety-conscious individual with an enjoyable, outgoing attitude who wants to excel in a work environment.
This position is also responsible for enforcing and following all policies, procedures, maintenance, and security requirements. Further, it will meet internal and external customer needs promptly, professionally, and courteously.
Major Work Duties
Essential Job Functions
- Maintains confidentiality of records relating to services provided to clients.
- Ability to pay significant attention to detail, be self-motivated, ability to function as a team member in a group environment, and communicate with all levels of the department and organization
- Record daily payroll on our computer-based payroll system
- Record daily persons served information with our tracking forms
- Train all production employees to pack or process parts as work order requires.
- Clean, sort, weigh, and package parts.
- Follow all safety procedures.
- Follow and comprehend department work instructions.
- Show continuous progress in work responsibilities as determined by the supervisor.
- Maintain required records.
- Unpacking of bulk product
- Quality auditing
- General housekeeping
- Problem-solving warehouse issues
- Effectively communicate problems and issues with management
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Regular attendance is an essential function of this position
- Must follow all OSHA safety regulations
- Must possess a positive customer service attitude and image
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be willing to work as a team member
- Follow instructions
- Handle change in routines
- Display appropriate socialization at all times
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
Supervisory Responsibility
- Must train and oversee crew members (per DODD rules and properly supervising and safety techniques, reviewing the training effectiveness)
- Must maintain a Safety Program for crew members, reviewing for continuous improvements
- Must maintain all crew members' ISPs, making sure the most recent ISP for each crew member is at the worksite (per DODD rules)
- Must follow MUI/UIR reporting procedures (per County Boards and the DODD rules)
- Must report any changes or behavior issues to the crew member's Service & Support Administrator (SSA).
- Must complete and submit all required paperwork (tracking forms, etc.)
Physical Demands
- You must be able to work with your hands, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and reach with your hands and arms.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
- Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM (approximate hours)
