We are seeking a highly motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our team. The Inside Sales Representative will play a pivotal role in our sales operations, focusing primarily on setting up logistics, managing order entry processes, and handling Accounts Receivable tasks. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The responsibilities of the Inside Sales Representative include, but are not limited to, the following:
Logistics Coordination
- Coordinate the logistics of product delivery and ensure timely shipments to customers.
- Collaborate with warehouse and shipping departments to schedule deliveries and manage inventory levels effectively.
- Track shipments and address any issues or delays promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
Order Entry and Processing
- Process sales orders accurately and efficiently into the company's system.
- Verify order details, pricing, and shipping information to ensure accuracy.
- Communicate order status and updates to customers as needed.
Accounts Receivable Management
- Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payment of invoices.
- Follow up on outstanding invoices and work with customers to resolve payment discrepancies or issues.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and communicate with the finance department regarding account status.
Customer Service
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers regarding order inquiries, product information, and general assistance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
- Address customer concerns or complaints promptly and escalate issues as necessary to ensure resolution.
Sales Support
- Assist the sales team in generating leads, prospecting, and identifying potential sales opportunities.
- Provide sales representatives with administrative support, including preparing sales reports, presentations, and proposals as needed.
- Collaborate with marketing and other departments to support sales initiatives and campaigns.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in inside sales, customer service, or related field preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and order processing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM software preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
· Knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes is a plus.
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
