Moonsong Labs is a growing Web3 protocol and AI engineering services and venture studio business. We have expertise in developing software to support blockchain and AI implementations. Our venture studio incubates new businesses that are building decentralized developer infrastructure and AI protocols. Examples of our work include the project Moonbeam, a blockchain that implements an Ethereum compatible environment and natively supports cross chain use cases. And Kluster AI ( https : / / kluster.ai / ) a decentralized large AI model inference and fine tuning platform. Other customers include ZKSync and Starkware.The RoleWe have a newly created role for a Solution Architect to join the Moonsong Labs team to serve as the bridge between us and our highly technical customer base. Reporting to the Executive team, the Architect is a hands-on role with overall responsibility for understanding customer needs, proposing technical solutions, and supporting the growth of new and existing customer relationships and business.The ideal candidate has experience as a software engineer, technical product manager, solutions architect, or pre-sales engineer in the software space. A technical background is key for this role, but it also has a significant customer facing component. Working across a variety of prospective and existing customers, this role involves understanding their needs, strategizing how to meet their goals, proposing project ideas, and coordinating with internal teams to deliver solutions that drive customer satisfaction and retention. Knowledge of Web3 and AI is highly desirable as is a b2b and software engineering background.You will have the opportunity to shape and develop the solutions architecture function of a leading company in Web3 and AI space. Support customer calls and meetings with bd on an ongoing basis.Working with BD to qualify new opportunities from a technical perspective, and helping to decide which opportunities it makes sense to invest time into.Responsible for scoping new projects and creating new technical project proposals.Understanding customer challenges and goals and mapping their needs to company capabilities and solutions, ensuring alignment with customer roadmaps and plans.Developing new project backlogs in existing long term accounts.Developing deep understanding of MSL domain expertise and capabilities in Web3 and AINetworking and engaging with customer stakeholders to unearth challenges and opportunities.Brainstorming, ideating, pitching and proposing engineering projects and initiatives that address customer challenges, including things that they aren’t specifically asking for or thinking of.Challenging customer requirements and assumptions when appropriate, suggesting creative alternatives when necessaryWorking closely with engineering services and business operations teams to make sure proposed projects are viable, priced correctly, and can be executed successfully.Establishing Solutions Architecture best practices for Moonsong Labs.What you'll bring : Technical background and experience engaging with customers to understand needs and propose new technical projects, initiatives, and solutions.Experience in customer facing roles, networking, willingness to travel.Knowledge of Web3 infrastructure.Knowledge of Ethereum and L2s.Relevant experience including as Software Engineer, Technical Product Manager, Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or other technical roles.Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate opportunities from a technical and risk perspective.Good writing skills with an ability to present and explain complex concepts and issues in a clear and accessible way.Experience interacting with and presenting to executive and technical customer stakeholders.Good attention to detail while working well under pressure.Technical Undergraduate or Masters Degree.5-10 years relevant experience.Perks and Benefits : 100% RemoteFlexible vacation policyHealth and Dental plans (for US based employees)Direct line of access to Managing Partners and senior leadership; A flat organizational structure and the camaraderie of working alongside committed professionals focused on providing dedicated mentorship, respectful feedback, and career advancementContinuous learning & development20% time to collaborate on other projects within MSL or on side projectsReady to Shape the Future?
