The Accounting Intern will work with the accounting team on a variety of specific projects and areas as noted below. This position will report directly to the Accounting Manager but will have exposure to the wider business teams. Interns will complete a capstone type project over the summer culminating in a presentation to business leadership.

Qualification And Education Requirements
- Must be a recent graduate or actively working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting
- Satisfactory completion of introductory accounting courses and a basic understanding of accounting and financial principles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility.
- Motivation and strong desire to take on new challenges and learn as much as possible.
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Accounting or related field
- Rising junior or senior
- Strong interest in applying Accounting/Finance knowledge to practical problems
- Ability to comply with deadlines
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Interest in technology and process improvement
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- No previous experience required
