The Quality Systems Coordinator manages and monitors internal quality and environmental processes to ensure ISO certification is maintained at all Webb Aftermarket locations.Work Environment:
Based at Webb AFM’s headquarters in Cullman, AL. Onsite 40 hrs/week.
Must have ability to deal with people at a cross-functional level.
Essential Functions:
- Develop, incorporate and/or manage Quality Management Systems across multiple facilities, potentially including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and IATF 16949.
- Maintain Webb’s current quality management system to ensure ISO 9001 compliance at all AFM facilities
- Conduct, direct and/or oversee internal and external audits, ensuring Webb maintains ISO certification
- Ensure ISO related compliance records are maintained per company policy
- Conduct monthly Quality Review meetings
- Perform calibration audits to ensure all measurement and balancing equipment such as calipers, gauges and micrometers are functioning properly
- Perform internal audits of production processes, work instructions and operators
- Prepare charts, graphs, and other documentation and reports; present semi-annual management review regarding quality vs. goals, rework, scrap and on-time shipping
- Maintain and revise all ISO procedures and work instructions
- Drive Webb’s corrective action program
- Become a Lean Manufacturing leader, driving efficiency within area of responsibility.
- Assist and fill in for Quality Control Technician positions as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhere to all safety processes
- Other duties as assigned
Position Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Thorough understanding of quality control standards and methodology
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Basic math and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Mechanical skill, aptitude with reading blueprints and use of measuring tools
- Knowledge of ISO and IATF standards and certification process
- Some travel required
- Position requires ability to effectively communicate in oral and written form to present information and respond to inquiries from employees, customers, and suppliers.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience maintaining an ISO compliance systems
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
- Previous experience in Quality Assurance, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, preferred
