Reports to: Director of Webco University

Location: Webco U Technology Center

Position Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a service-oriented team addressing learning systems and organizational development.
• Collaborate with the Learning Management System (LMS) provider to monitor and communicate system updates impacting users.
• Implement and promote the LMS across all divisions, assisting in feature implementation and fostering effective communication.
• Organize and conduct training for administrators and end-users on LMS functionality and usage.
• Generate and facilitate the development of reports, working with centralized teams for optimization and resolution of reporting issues.
• Record, edit, and distribute video content for training and development purposes. Assess, develop, and implement innovative solutions to training, learning, and performance challenges.
• Proactively identify new technologies and processes to enhance organizational learning and productivity.
• Maintain relationships with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and leadership to ensure the quality of training initiatives.
• Perform audits to assess training effectiveness and compliance. Provide feedback to leadership on employee training progress.
• Facilitate leadership training and participate in annual leadership events.
• Support learning campaigns and policy/process improvements.
• Travel to various facilities as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Higher Education, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience in coaching, teaching or mentoring individuals or small groups
• Experience working in a manufacturing facility
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills both in-person and virtual
• The ability to apply all three learning styles to training
• Must acquire a thorough understanding of Webco Skills Based Pay program
• Experienced in organizing and preparing teaching/facilitating materials
• Capable of editing graphics is highly desired.
• Must become proficient in the use of Rapid Course Development Tools such as Lectora.

Typical Physical Demands :

Must be able to work a minimum of 8 hours per day on a regular basis. The workday might vary depending on the current training schedule. Requires additional hours of work as required per workload of position and department. Requires prolonged periods of sitting. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Regularly uses multiple communication methods such as: telephone, apps, Teams, etc. Uses office equipment such as copiers, book binding machines, networking equipment, etc. Requires prolonged periods of monitoring computer screens and displays Utilizes a variety of hand positions to repetitively manipulate keyboard and mouse. Position requires occasional, prolonged periods of standing and walking distances of up to 2 miles in a manufacturing facility. Job is fast paced and the ability to deal with stress is essential.

Typical Working Conditions :

Primarily work in an indoor office environment. This environment is typically temperature controlled and clean, with normal air contaminants, such as dust, typically found in an office environment. Position requires occasional exposure to manufacturing environment with exposure to loud and prolonged noise. Noise exposure is constant, which includes the noise of machinery and overhead cranes. Noise exposure also includes frequent and extremely loud changing sounds caused from metal tubing banging against each other during processing. All employees are required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to include noise/hearing protection and safety glasses with side shields while in the manufacturing facilities.
