Position Summary
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the recruitment strategies and processes that attract top-tier talent to Weber, Inc. This role focuses on creating a seamless candidate experience and partnering with key stakeholders to meet hiring goals.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Recruitment Strategy & Execution :
Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies aligned with business goals.
Identify sourcing methods to build a pipeline of qualified candidates (e.g., social media, job boards, referrals).Oversee the use of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to streamline recruitment workflows.Monitor hiring trends and adjust strategies to meet current and future workforce needs.Oversee the selection process including identifying and assessing candidates, conducting pre-screens, facilitating interviews and gathering candidate and management feedback.Maintains communication with candidates, throughout the recruitment process, to position the company to successfully hire the best talent.Schedule interviews with hiring managers and negotiate offers.Stakeholder Collaboration :Partner with hiring managers to develop sourcing strategies and solutions that deliver a pipeline of talent to meet emerging business needs, address anticipated talent gaps and provide consultative advice on hiring best practices.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with leadership teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals.Act as a point of contact between the recruiting team and other departments.Process Improvement & Metrics :Analyze recruiting metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, quality of hire) and provide actionable insights to improve efficiency.
Continuously evaluate and refine the recruitment process to enhance candidate experience and diversity efforts.Stay informed about industry trends, labor laws, and market conditions.Employer Branding :Drive initiatives that promote the organization's employer brand to attract top talent.
Represent the company at career fairs, networking events, and other external hiring opportunities.Develop and nurture a network of contacts throughout the community and industry, to expand Weber's reputation as a top employer.Collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling job postings and social media campaigns.Other duties as assigned.Required Skills and Abilities
Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, tools, and techniques.Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.Proficient in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR software.Ability to analyze metrics and create actionable recruitment strategies.Deep understanding of employment laws and compliance.Strong communication skills, verbal and writtenMust be proactive and enjoy taking the initiativeEducation and Experience
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM, PHR) is a plus.Extensive experience (5 years) in sourcing and identifying and screening candidates through social media, LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.2 years in sourcing / recruiting technical roles (e.g., Technical Project Manager, Engineers, Field Service)Food processing industry is highly desirable.Key Competencies
