Weber Group is a specialty Design/Build company that builds highly themed elements for theme parks, zoos, aquariums, and other guest-facing spaces.
The Technical Integrator works in Weber’s Tech Department to bring next-generation themed experiences to life. They’ll work to specify the interfaces of all technical aspects of a project, communicate them across internal departments, work with internal and external fabricators, interface with clients, and do physical integration of tech (including building/testing/tuning/debugging). We’re looking for a hands-on hacker/maker/jack-of-all trades/engineer who is excited to tackle odd challenges, build awesome things.
Job Summary:
Performs various functions in the accounting department including but not limited to duties listed below.
This is a salaried, exempt position. Salary commensurate with experience.
Requirements
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
· Process accounts receivable invoices for theming and traditional construction divisions including AIA invoicing
· Work one on one with project managers.
· Assist in gathering information to complete monthly payment applications and prepare invoices and draw packages for submission to project owner.
· Review and enter owner change orders for all projects.
· Input and maintain budget estimates in the accounting system.
· Update project specific budget tracking documents for project managers.
· Manage subcontractor lien waivers for assigned projects.
· Enter payables for assigned projects into the accounting system.
· Transfer project costs in the system as needed.
· Send client statements and AR follow ups.
· Miscellaneous accounting tasks as needed.
· Assists in office administrative tasks as needed.
· Assists Controller with special projects as needed.
Qualifications/Educational Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree or 3 years of construction accounting experience preferred.
· Ability to work in a team environment.
· Ability to establish goals and priorities: perceive and analyze situations requiring attention and perform duties in a timely manner often under pressure.
· Manage a variety of priorities simultaneously.
· Ability to develop relationships with a variety of clients in a diverse range of industries.
· Strong verbal, written, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to use judgment and discretion; to keep confidentiality; to exercise tact and diplomacy.
· Experience working within a fast paced accounting department.
· Proficient in Excel and Word.
· Experience with ComputerEase preferred
