Job Summary/Basic Function
High School Dual Enrollment (HSDE) is a program that allows high school students to earn college-level credits while completing their high school credentials. Concurrent enrollment courses are taught at the high schools, with students paying $5 per credit hour. This allows students to access college-level courses at a significantly reduced rate where students can earn a credential when graduating high school.
The Administrative Specialist II for High School Dual Enrollment at Weber State University will support the coordination and administration of the Dual Enrollment programs, including Concurrent Enrollment and Early College. This role involves handling various administrative tasks, providing student support, and meeting the needs of the office and staff.
This is a mid-level position that assists students, faculty, administrators, and third parties (parents, spouses, designated representatives, etc.), with the following programs/processes: academic records & transcripts, admission, financial aid, graduation, recruitment, registration, and scholarships.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Dual Enrollment Program Executive Director and staff.
- Assist with student admissions, registration, and enrollment processes.
- Coordinate and schedule advising appointments, meetings, and events.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of program materials and communications.
- Support in organizing program-related events and activities.
- Address inquiries from students, parents, and school counselors regarding the dual enrollment process.
- Assist in managing the department budget.
- Supervise student workers and ensure office coverage.
- Perform other related duties as assigned
This is an in-person position located at the Davis Campus.
Required Qualifications
Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Two years of related experience
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred:
- Administrative support experience, preferably in an educational setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with academic processes and student support services is a plus.
