Job Summary/Basic Function
The Admissions and Outreach Assistant will play a vital role in supporting prospective and current students by guiding them through the admissions process and promoting outreach efforts to increase program visibility and enrollment. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, organizational abilities, and a commitment to helping students succeed. In this position, you will help students complete the WSU admissions process, assist with informational sessions, meet with students in person or through Zoom, and represent the program at community events, career fairs, and other recruitment opportunities.
Required Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Willingness to take initiative and problem-solve individual student cases so that students have the best experience possible.
- Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends; flexible schedule.
- Experience in customer service, admissions, outreach or related field.
- Strong verbal communication skills
